MB Core SDK Documentation

Technical documentation hub for the 8bitbrain MB Core SDK.

This page is the documentation entry point for developers and technical evaluators working with the MB Core SDK. It links to the main technical resources, outlines the available evaluation paths, and highlights the hardware and dataset constraints relevant to MB-core workflows.

The SDK is currently in alpha. Use this page to navigate the documentation set rather than treating it as a full manual.

Start with the overview, then move into the specific areas most relevant to your evaluation workflow.

What You Can Do

The documentation is intended to help developers and technical evaluators move through the MB Core SDK in a practical order.

  • Understand the SDK structure and where the main workflow components live
  • Run software-only cold mode for local evaluation and analysis
  • Understand UART mode requirements before attempting hardware-connected use
  • Inspect baseline detector behavior and analysis-oriented flows
  • Follow the NASA IMS demo workflow for repeatable technical evaluation

Hardware Note

Cold mode and analysis workflows can be used without hardware. UART mode requires compatible hardware, a matching MB-core bitstream, and alignment with the expected protocol and transport behavior.

Hardware-enabled evaluation may be available on request via contact@8bitbrain.ai.

Dataset Note

Small demo artifacts may be included in the repository to support repeatable technical demo flows. The full NASA IMS dataset is not included in the repository.

For dataset context and workflow details, use the linked documentation and GitHub resources rather than expecting the complete upstream dataset to be bundled with the SDK.
